UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL SOCKET

  • Socket HW

    • Socket manufactured in 304 stainless steel.

    • External dimensions l x b x d = 515 x 230 x 405 mm.

    • The hinged cover with its square lock is manufactured in matt blasted stainless steel chequer plate.

    • The air chamber is located below the cover and hinges with it.

    • The air chamber can be provided with a CEE socket as required (see list of models).

    • In order to ensure that the air chamber is airtight each connector is provided with a neoprene sleeve covering the transition to the ground cable. The maximal length of the ground cable is 3 metres.

    • The cabinet is provided with stabilising profiles at the base. 

    • The junction panel is powder coated throughout and all areas visible from above when the cover is closed are finished in glass bead blasted stainless steel.

    • The maximal load on the covers is 125kN in accordance with EN124 B125.

    • Opening the cover of this model brings the air chamber above ground level, after which it tilts into the operational position. Closing the cover reverses this sequence.

    • This ensures that the air bubble is formed when the equipment goes below ground level.

    • A single CEE 125A socket is installed in the air chamber.

VERSIONS

There are different versions of this box, with different numbers and types of socket.
The smallest version is suitable for a 16A socket while the largest can handle a 125A socket.
The cover is in matt blasted stainless steel chequer plate and can be provided with an image or logo as desired.

FUNCTION

Underground power supply box for electrical supplies at events, markets, parties, charging points, hotel, restaurant and catering outlets, terrace heating, Christmas trees etc.

FEATURES

The simple way to provide one or more underground electrical sockets.
This unit is ideal for locations requiring a number of power outlets.
For example markets, events, parties, charging points, hotels, restaurants and catering establishments, terrace heating, market stalls, scaffolds and Christmas trees.
The socket will require a power supply from a separate distribution point.

The box can be fully inset into a flat surface.
Like our other underground boxes this electrical supply box makes use of the bell trap system. This allows the box to be installed as much as a metre under water. No connection to the drainage system is required.

OPERATION

Underground electrical socket for outdoor use.
The box is easily opened with a square socket. A plug can be inserted immediately in the socket with all models.
Once the plug is inserted the cover can be closed. The cover drops automatically into the locked position leaving no obstructions.
Cables exit the box via a slot, so that the box does not protrude in either its active or passive positions and the surface is always free of obstacles.

  • The bell trap protects the equipment against the ingress of water (no connection to the drainage system is required).

  • Complies with electrical standards NEN 1010 and NEN 3140.

GUARANTEE

The housing and the electrical components are guaranteed for 12 months following delivery.
